(1) Primary‑level power distribution equipment, collectively referred to as power distribution centers. They are centrally installed in enterprise substations to distribute electric energy to lower‑level power distribution equipment at various locations. Since this level of equipment is located close to step‑down transformers, it has high requirements for electrical parameters and large output circuit capacity.
(2) Secondary‑level power distribution equipment is a general term for power distribution cabinets and motor control centers. Power distribution cabinets are applied to scenarios with relatively scattered loads and fewer circuits; motor control centers are used for occasions with concentrated loads and a large number of circuits. They distribute electric energy from certain circuits of the upper‑level distribution equipment to nearby loads. This level of equipment shall provide protection, monitoring and control for loads.
(3) Final‑stage power distribution equipment is collectively called lighting and power distribution boxes. Located far away from the power supply center, they are decentralized small‑capacity power distribution devices.
