Power distribution cabinets (boxes) are divided into power distribution cabinets (boxes), lighting distribution cabinets (boxes) and metering cabinets (boxes). They belong to the final‑stage equipment of the power distribution system. Power distribution cabinet is also a general name for motor control centers. Power distribution cabinets are used for scenarios with scattered loads and fewer circuits, while motor control centers are applied to occasions with concentrated loads and a large number of circuits. They distribute electric energy from specific circuits of upper‑level distribution equipment to nearby loads, and provide protection, monitoring and control for the loads.
